3rd gen front controll arms on 2nd gen?

Hey I was wondering if anyone knew off hand If 3rd generation front controll arms will fit on my 2nd generation?

I think that they are the same length but the bolts are larger on the 3rd gen.

I heard that they do..i'de like to know also...I dont remember anything said as far as bolts tho.
 
I took some quick measurements of mine so we can compare. All we need is a third gen to measure to see if its close.....

Mine measure 18.5" for the lower, and 17.5" for the upper bolt center to bolt center. The brackets for the arms at the frame are roughly 2-3/8" wide for the uppers and 2-5/8" wide for the lowers. The brackets at the axle are roughly 2.25" for the uppers and 2.5" for the lowers
 
3rd gen controll arms will fit need to cut top out of upper axle poket to have room for drop out bolts are all the same :woohoo:

3gen bolt size is M16, same like in 00-02 Dana60.

1994-1997 bolt size is M14
