I have a 2000 24v and needing to do a head gasket. Has anyone put a 3rd gen MLS head gasket and either the ARP 425's or 625's and how does it hold and i have seen many 3rd gens with some big boost # on stock head bolts and these gaskets

I am in Need of more info

:thankyou2: Coty

Big boost numbers are held with studs and an MLS gasket - not bolts.

The coolant passages are not quite the same between the 24v and CR.

I ordered ARP studs and MLS gasket today!
I plan on running HX40/HT3B and 150's is this to much for just Studs and MlS gasket?

No. Guys with CRs are running much larger turbo combos without issue.

Have you checked the thickness of the gasket you ordered? IIRC stock MLS gasket is around .015" thinner than the stock 24v and 12v gaskets, but I may be wrong. A different gasket thickness could become an issue.

Thats what i wanted to hear and gasket is little thicker than stock so we good there
