What is the difference between the 03-04 heads and the 05-07 heads? My local dealership had different part numbers....


what years were more compatible with a 2001 Cummins?

cross tubes are diff which i happen to have to go bye bye with the head we have at the shop if someone in need of a head were to buy i think something with the way the push tubes go throught the head is diff but doesnt affect anything
 
The difference should only be the valves, seats and the rockers and seals.
 
how about sticking it on a 24V VP truck? Some say its a direct bolt on and some say a few parts need to be milled.
