3rd gen lifters

I've noticed some guys mention they are running 3rd gen lifters, any advantage ?

I think the only advantake is the face that rides on the cam is wider so it allows you to use a more aggressive cam with a higher ramp...

Just remember, you can't run a mechanical lift pump with the CR lifters.

I'm guessing the "base" is too large for the lift pump push rod to clear??
