I'm buying a set of 3rd gen rims for my 95 to get rid of my 16.5 rims. My question is do I need to buy 2nd gen or 3rd gen lugnuts or are they the same. I'm not sure on how the center caps hold on thats why I ask. I going to get them tomorrow and want to find lugnuts for them because all I got is the long chrome ones. Thanks

Lug nuts are the same, but the back spacing might cause you some trouble with the drum brakes. Not sure on that though.

I'm running 3rd Gen alloys on my '98. 2nd Gen lug nuts and no back spacing issues.

got them on today but the caps wont go on the back. I found 1/4'' wheel spacers on ebay so then the caps should go over the axles. thanks for the input guys.

The lug nuts changed for 2012.

He said 3rd Gen.

Didn't know you were talking steel wheels. Caps aren't deep enough for the Dana axles with the steel wheels. 2nd Gen caps should work.

Well I had alloy set bought but never heard from the guy. Found these close by so I got them. They will do, just need a 33" tire on them. LOL
