4.10 Gears and Detroit for Dana 80/60

I was doing a trade with a friend and now we are not doing the trade.I have the detroit which was all checked out and gone through b4 going in my buds truck.He didnt like the 410s so he went back. The gears are in good shape to.It is front gears only and rear gears with a Detroit 35 spline. Iam asking 800 obo or maybe a trade for a 215hp p-pump.
 
No problem it was worth it just to bs with you and drink beer a few times
 
Location? Trade for D60/80 3.54's with Detroit? (Detroit ring gear bolt holes drilled out to accept 3.54 gears)
 
i may do that everyonr said the detroit wouldnt work with 355. what mods did you have to do to it to make it work? and who did it?

A very reputable(sp?) Custom 4 wheel drive shop did all the labor, I just dropped the truck off and let him do it all. He took a D70 (I think?) 4.10 Detroit Locker and drilled out the ring gear bolt holes to accept the larger 3.55 ring gear bolts. At the time it was a daily driver, and weekend sled puller. I drove it (and occassionally pulled) like that for another 2 years before purchasing my '03. Never had a moments trouble of out it. Hate to have to buy another one to swap to 4.10's for pulling so this seems like this might be a good deal for us. How many miles on your R&P's? You still haven't said where your located either? I'm in Middle Tenn.
 
Im really not sure I had 430s and they guy I gave the gears to traded for 410s. The shop is a very good shop and the gears are in very good shape.
