47re 4wd overdrive section

im lowering my truck and doing a custom drive shaft so i figure i might as well get rid of the 3 mile long output shaft in my 2wd. my overdrive section is rebuilt with 0 miles on it because im waiting on my injectors from cpp still
if anybody wants to trade. i also have an extra 47re, 12 valve long block, ppumps, heads, and tons of other parts

Good luck, I have yet to find someone willing to sell just the housing. Plus you'll end up with a 3 mile long drive shaft and no readily available output shaft or way to attach the drive shaft.

just called a transmission shop, im getting the housing, seals ,output shaft all for 105 $ and opie has a yoke for the 4wd

seriously? what shop? can you send me the contact info please? I couldn't find one for less than $400 when I was looking hard. Maybe you have it easy in TX! LOL
