47re overdrive trouble

Hey guys,

So towards the end of last year, I blew overdrive in my truck, the od piston seal exactly, so I bought the sun coast extreme duty rebuild kit and had a buddy of mine completely rebuild my tranny for me and the thing shifted perfectly and od worked like a charm. Then about a month ago I blew it again, what I want to know, is if there's anyone that sells just an od rebuild kit? I've been told there is but have had no lucky finding it. Any help?

Patc, you can buy just clutches and steels, and those seals probably come in a kit.. See if you can borrow the install tool for those seals so you don't do it again.

Might want to look into the problem of whats causing OD piston seal to leak by. Was the spacer for the OD piston sized correctly?
