in my buick the trans has a banks converter and a bd valvebody. as installed by previous owner to help with towing... my question is would billet servo's help the trans hold power a little longer till i can get it garmonized..
i found a 16% larger intermediate servo for 63 bucks on the ebay... wondering if its worth the trouble.
pros and cons and experience would be welcome!

I'm assuming this is a front servo. I would steer clear of it, unless you have upgraded the intermediate band, and have also upgraded the strut, anchor and apply lever. Those parts are notoriously weak, and applying more force to them probably wouldn't be a great idea. The BD valve bodies I have installed in the past, have come with upgraded strut anchor and apply lever, but that doesn't mean yours did or that they were installed. Also, I don't think you can remove the servo without removing the apply lever (however, I don't know this to be fact as I have only done servos when the trans was out and completely disassembled). You have to pull the trans to remove the apply lever.
Hope this helps.
Sean

appreciate the insight! i was going for budget performance but it sounds like this would kill that out of the box.
