The transmission is hanging up on the 2-3 shift. I have adjusted the bands, put in a new governor pressure sensor and governor pressure solonoid, new speed sensors, and changed fluid and filter. I also tried wrapping the alternator wire in foil, and isolated all the grounds in hopes that that would fix the problem.
So far, nothing. I think maybe the gov. pressure sensor or solonoid maybe got some debris in them and try to take them out and clean them up and spray them out real good with contact cleaner.
Does any one have any more suggestions as to what it may be?

what do you mean by "hanging up"? Is it not shifting? Binding? Flaring?

When I am driving under light acceleration, the truck will shift 1-2 just fine. Then on the 2-3 the truck will feel like it is trying to shift then I have to rev it up to about 3200 rpm and let off and it will go ahead and shift in to 3.

I was playing with it last night when I got on the highway and accelerated a little harder and it went through the gears just fine, all the way to 4. Then this morning I was pulling out, accelerating a little harder, on the highway it shifted just fine again.

This got me thinking and I checked the T.V. cable adjustment and it is getting full travel and seems to be adjusted properly.

Thank you for your help!

sounds like a seal in 1 of the clutch packs is leaking past at times. the harder you push it the faster it will pressureize the piston to move. check line pressure at idle and full throttle to see what you have i set them up at 85 to 90 at idle full throttle should be at least 180 for a built trans.
