I'm looking for a 4x4 47rh. I have a 2wd 47re. can it be made into a hydraulic 47rh.

can a 4x4 tail cone ne installed to amake it 4x4

Yes it can be done, you have to change the od housing,output shaftwith govener assy., add govener tubes,od piston support,valvebody,fabricate a sleeve where the wiring harness goes up thru the case because the seven pin re connector is a little larger in diameter than the 3 pin rh so it won't leak. a lot easier to buy a 47rh core and build it, imo!
 
I'm running a hybrid 48RH in my race truck. So yes, you can make anything work! Gary
