47re valve body?

ok have a built 47re georand transmision but i didnt put one of there valve bodies in it, just used the stock one . what are the advantages of an aftermarket valve body and ar they worth the money.

A valve body means everything to a transmission. Its the brains. Firmer shifts, fluid pressures, etc. The advantages of an aftermarket far outweigh anything about a stock vb.

So word of advice, quit pondering and get it done.

There is no reason to add clutches/ billet parts to a transmission if your still running a stock vb. VB is where the extra holding capacity comes from more then anything else.

Well I suppose if you could double the clutch count it would hold twice as much.

So much easier to double the pressure and get the same thing, as well as improved shift quality!
