Alright, so I installed my rebuilt 47re transmission last night and now I have a vibration. Whether it is moving or in park. Any ideas? It drives alright but when you stop you can feel a subtle vibration. I know it never did this before.
Check that your exhaust isn't hitting the frame anywhere. The only other thing it could really be is the torque converter or the flex plate. Did you put a new flex plate on it? Maybe the crank wasn't totally clean? When I installed my tranny I started all the bolts in the torque and went around and around to tighten. I did 3 full revolutions before I was at the final torque. Is it possible the torque was unevenly tightened?
