47rh problem?

I finally took my truck on a test drive yesterday after putting the auto in my truck. And when I have the lock up switch off, around 10mph the tranny shifts through all the gears? So I disconnected the wires from the switch and it doesn't do it anymore but now it doesn't seem to shift right.

Could this have anything to do with the kickdown cable not being the right length?
