47rh upgrades

swapping a 47rh into 1st gen, just wondering what to upgrade. would a shift kit and performance clutch packs handle max 400hp or would just the shift kit suffice. truck wont ever get beyond that 400hp.

A good vb kit and a single disc convertor should get you by just fine as long as everything in the trans is in good shape now.

I thought generally upgrade the band strut/post to go along with the higher line pressures.
