riddle me this trans guys...
fresh rebuild and after the goerend HP VB was put back in all is well, BUT as i am approaching a stop sign (down to 10 mph or so)what i believe to be the 2-1 downshift is quite aggressive. could i be feeling a hard converter unlock?
the reason i ask is when i am in tow haul mode it doesn't do it, BUT the OD lock up is way more aggressive than it used to be (even in tow /haul). i know what lockup feels like with a built trans but it hits way harder than it used to be.
the reason for the rebuild was a burnt up reverse band. i am wondering if the OD solenoid has been contaminated.... would you start with an OD solenoid?
