48RE Problems

Just got my transmission rebuilt and converter gone through. Finally got a day off work so I could get it in. Got it all installed and drove it about 100 yrds and it upshifts, locks the converter and kills the motor. Restarted the motor, turned truck around to get it back in the driveway and it did the same exact thing. Has the original Lockup/OD solenoids in it. I just ordered replacement solenoids so next time I get a day off I can put them in. Any ideas? Will a stuck solenoid cause this?

Could also have the lockup valve stuck in the bore of the the valve body.

A missing check ball will do that too.
