48re suncoast stand alone valve body

I have an 03 Ram 3500 with full billet 48re. trans was built with suncoast parts including the valve body. it works good but shifts stupid A LOT!! so naturally ive been looking into their stand alone valve body with the pcs controller. Is the suncoast stand alone a good idea? Is it the same as ATS?

I run a Suncoast standalone vb and I love it. I had an ATS standalone vb and I sold it. The PCS setup is nice but it takes time to tune your truck to your mods. I've know lots of people who don't have the ability or patience to fine tune a standalone PCS TCM.
