I just installed a suncoast torque converter and valve body in my 04.5 3500 and it seems to shift pretty firm the thing I am wondering about is the shift from 1-2 seems like it needs to happen sooner when just taking off slow it revs pretty high then shifts. But at wot it is fine. Is this normal? The other thing is what kind of pressure do these valve body's typically produce I didn't see anything in the instructions

try backing off the throttle pressure cable adjustment.

did the new VB come with a new governor pressure solenoid?

depending on the setup it can make 180-200 psi

Yes it did, I adjusted the tv cable and it helped a lot I am only seeing 160 psi at WOT should I be concerned I am not seeing 180 psi or more? How do I increase line pressure if needed?
