What should a decent 4BT cost a person? Where should someone start looking for one?

Have a DD project in mind with a 4BT in it just trying to run the numbers.
 
I know of a stepvan for sale for $2000.00 with a 4BT and 4 speed trans. Truck body is aluminum, and could be scraped for some cash back. Thats where I would start looking.
 
Frito-Lay trucks are good place to start. Look for local companies auctioning off old equipment.
 
I have one that is all apart. short block is assymbled. head was checked out and flowed. have both a rotary pump and a inline pump with both covers and lines. make me an offer.
