4bt or 5.9 cummins

This coming spring I'm wanting to start my first project. I'm looking for a preferably a 4bt cummins due to the smaller size. Doesn't have to run but would like to be a complete engine with all accessories on it. Let me know what you have and what you would need out of it. I live in Bridgeport, NE. Thanks guys.

I have an 8 valve 4.5 4bt.
It's essentially a 3.9 bread truck engine that's stroked up and has a VP-30 pump.
I was going to switch it to VE injection and I have the parts to do so.

Nice what would you want for it altogether with the ve conversion parts and if possible separate?

$1800 with the conversion stuff, $1300 without.

Does this engine need rebuilt do ya know?

I know very little about it other than I have had it running for a short time on light oil sprayed into the intake, to see if it ran or knocked and it didn't knock.

Since it has an electronic injection pump and some of the wiring for it is missing, I couldn't properly run it.
I'm calling it a core that's complete.
