What kind of rpms r you getting out of a 4k spring, free rev and defueling? I put a 3k in before and it free rev to 3900 an defueled at 3600. Then i send my pump to schied an got it calibrated an told them to set it at 4500 free rev, so they did but the pump was really jumpy. And on the road it wanted to defeul around 3200. So i pulled the springs out today an it had the small spring that i left out of it when i put the 3ks in pump, that i sent with the pump because i originally bought 4k springs. But they also had a stock spring that would be the big spring in the pump with the stock retainer. And they were set a one click.
Schied told me they set there springs on 3 clicks "but they didnt this one", But when i put the 3k kit in i mearsed the stim with a set of calipers and went by the stock measurment. Is this why it turned more? I would like to get it to fuel a little higher than i had before and have it as smooth like it was.
