Is there a fix? The kingpin was just sitting in the hole pulled it out of the once threaded hole......

Can a repair be made or is this Dana 60F housing junk?

my truck needs king pins and bushing also and i was wondering how hard it is to do them? and how to go about it

That's what I was doing- changing the kingpin bushings and lower bearings.... the job stopped when I pulled the arm and the spindle moved and the cup popped up.... I said that was too easy.... then I reached in and started to wipe the grease and felt the pin wobble. Pulled it right out with my finger....

Guess I'm gonna just swap in a spare housing....

other option is to weld it in good.

If it was as loose as he says, finding the "right spot" to weld it in might be tough. Without the "right spot" you might be chasing alignment issues for a awhile. Unless it's a puller only vehicle, then weld it in.

wheres the best place to get these parts? i think il prolly inspect mine and just replace the bushing and springs and bearings since the pin is such a *****
