4x4 light on dash only works sometimes

My 4x4 light on the dash only works sometimes even though the 4wd is engaged and operational when the light is not on. What could cause this problem?

As long as the 4wd is always working then i probably wouldn't worry about it. It would most likely be something in the dash

It is probably the switch on the CAD if the 4x4 allways works just the light dont allways come on. If the 4x4 itself dont allways work then check the vaccumn lines going to the CAD.
