Hey guys, I'm in the process of doing a 6.7 swap on my 06, and I have a brand new 5.9 Fluiddampr sitting in the box that I had bought with the intent of rebuilding my 5.9. So my question is could I use it on the 6.7 if I swapped the tone ring too? I know the 6.7 damper will swap to the 5.9, so I'm guessing it will. TIA!

Doing the same thing. I actually had both damprs and from measuring both of them the only difference I found is the 6.7 fluidampr has the tone wheel/ring built into it. Run it.

Just a note for those doing the swap with factory parts. I put a 6.7 long block in my 06 and used all 5.9 accessories. I tried to use a factory 6.7 dampener and the 5.9 fan hub. They hit, so you either have to use all factory 5.9 parts or get all factory 6.7 parts. It was within a few thousandth of clearing, but it would not clear, plus if you ever had to change the belt you would have had to take either the fan off or the dampener.
