5.9 weight question

Hey guys...just playing with some #'s right now and just curious if anyone ever got around to weighing there 5.9 in race trim...with or without the chargers. I have found #'s with all the stock accessories but am trying to get some better #'s. The engine will have a sheet metal aluminum intake and only a single S400.

Anyone care to take a stab at it.

Mine was filled on a pallett with unlimited charger was 900+ if i remember right
 
anyone know what the bare block weighs??? I just weighed one of my heads that has had the plenum cut off weighs in at 96lbs.
 
I don't have the GBL but I belive the motor as pictured below was real close to 2K crated.

weighed the block last night....its only 280lbs.

I didn't have a spare crank though to weigh...anyone know what a crank might weigh?

Stock crank w/gear weighs 120
Stock head @ or around 150
 
Came up with a bunch of difference weights last night for everything but the crank. Some where grouped together if the weights were smaller. Here is what I came up with for anyone needing them for future reference. I didn't include the turbo but have everything else included including valve covers, timing case and tappet cover. (Timing case and tappet cover a billet)

Good to know, Never had the time to weigh all that stuff out ( come to think of it never really worried about it much however!) I am assuming your trying to get this new truck to 6200#? Single charger in a Reg cab LB style frame should have no problems.

Heath- About the project with Marc...its for the best. For me though, thoughts are just flying thru my mind. Hopefully next year I will have something together, not sure what though....
