5 speed swap.computer?

i have a 01 2500 i want to put a 5 speed in. do i have to do anything to the computer? the truck is all stock right now. thanks!

i had no computer related issues when i put the 5 speed in my 01

The low speed gov is different. You might have a little trouble with zero throttle takeoffs. But I think its the other way around is when you can run into trouble.
