53 block?

What years was the 53 block used? Also where can I look on the block and find out if its a 53 block?

I tried to do a search but I couldnt come up with anything! I did an internet search and I found that the 53 block came in trucks from years 1999 to 2001. Is this correct and was it all 1999 to 2001 or did they get mixed up with other blocks during these years?

dont know if you found it yet, but its under the injection pump. just above the oilpan big one inch numbers.if you google it .it has nice pictures.i did a search here also.at the time didnt find it.
