6.0 innercooler

somebody just told me that they have an intercooler out of an 6.0
would this be a good mod for my truck????
what would it do ???

Depends on what you use your truck for. If its just towing, then yes it will drop egt's about 100* while towing. If you are wanting to race dont bother, there are better options.

I noticed very little when I did it... maybe a 50 drop when towing...

i dont have any gauges
so I didnt really notice anything
but I figure that it helps and for 50 bucks in supplies and a couple of hours of my time.
it gives me some reassurance.

You'll need some different intercooler hoses that go from the tubes to the new intercooler. They are slightly longer.
