The VT is the commercial downrated version, correct? The "Powerstroke V8" is the pickup version.

What differentiates them besides a catchy name (that Cummins doesn't need :hehe: )?

So it's fair to say a Ford comes with a Powerstroke V8 and not an International VT365?

yea ford screws with the VT365 when its put into a pickup to make it a powerstroke they change electronic components its still a VT365 though

The VT365 is set up for commercial work. So, International sets a lower rev limiter on it, changes the fuel trims to give it a high torque rating at lower rpms. It's been a while since I talked to an International engineer but I want to say, the intakes are slightly different, and there was something about the oil pans.
