has anyone ever swapped a 6.0 into another truck? I know of the ranger from Kennedy, tx and the s-10 dragster. But anything for a daily driver?

I just baught a complete 6.0 engine minus the up pipes and main engine harness that dropped number one injector for $200. Trying to locate a driveable torqshift trans and wire harness's. Gunna be a task alright

6.0 swapped into a Jeep I guess he used to daily drive it. But it's a full time duner now I believe.

Yep dropped right in.

Can be done..... what are you looking to drop it into?

Another shop you want to talk to is Outlaw Diesel they have swapped quite a few 6.0 and 5.9 into things.

I dropped a 5.9 12v into a '95 F350 a couple years ago and am still working on a 356 Perkins into a '75 F350 dually. I just aquired an '85 D350 4door dodge dually I want to put the 6.0 in. I'm getting tired of the 6cylenders.... Also gunna put a 4 cylender Doyts air cooled diesel in an '86 bronco if I can convince this feller not to junk it LOL

Oh yeah forgot about the 4banger Perkins diesel in a CJ7 jeep all of 90hp!

I was referring to this....

Outlaw Diesel is swapping a 6.0 into a Honda Civic you can swap a 6.0 into anything. 6.0 Stang would be pretty nice.

Outlaw? I've seem a few stickers of theirs around north Houston? Where are they I need to check them out and ask questions.

They are from Miami Florida I don't think they have a website but they do have a Myspace. They swap a bunch of Cummins and 6.0s trucks and cars.

The pic of I saw of that had twin turbos..... I don't see that being very beneficial.

Wheres that guy with the old ford with the 6.0 in it? Red 70's if i remember correctly. I would make sweet love to that truck when he wasn't looking if i saw it around! lol

Do it! That would be cool. Plus it would piss off the Dudge guys

you darn skippy! LOL I plan on after selling unneeded parts keeping total cost under 10,000. Including engine, trans, paint, initial truck cost, tires etc. Everything bumper to bumper.
