Does this engine have a hard drive that would recognize if you chip the engine or not?
 
with the spartan programmer the only code it shows is having disconnected the batteries
 
there are plenty of people who have had made dealer trips spartan or sct tuned with no issues
 
Have you had your 08 in for any service on it yet and if so were they able to detect anything? How long do you have to have Spartan off before bringing it to the dealer?
 
Personally i havent, but i know a guy that went in because his high pressure fuel pump went out, so he downloaded the stock file, loaded it on a roll back, and right to the dealer, he put the dpf back on but left the dpf back exhaust and the intake, the dealer had an idea what was going on but they couldnt prove anything, they put the fuel pump on and away he went. There are others i have heard of too but that is the best example i have.
 
Do you know of any other way to turn off the Exhaust Cleaning Mode, without chipping it?
 
By running a Flux Capacitor or maybe even 2. The CPU will be saved or even turned off as well and the truck will run almost stand alone.
