iam in need of sum help very fast with a gm 6.5 timing please call me at 3307492625

If it is not too late, post up what year of 6.5 you are dealing with and what kind of help you are looking for.

Static?
TDCO?

Give me some history.

Replace the IP?

Replace the chain?

1. Line up the cam and crank dots and install the chain.
2. Turn the crank/cam together until the dot on the cam gear is at 12 o'clock.
3. Install IP gear so that dot is at 6 o'clock
4. Install IP so that fuel shutoff solenoid is perfectly level (plum)
5. Don't tighten up all 3 of the IP mount bolts - leave the bottom ones somewhat loose and just tighten the top one.
6. Start the truck and let it get to at least 175*F for coolant temp.
7. This is where you need a Tech II. Use the scanner to clear all trouble codes. Read the TDCO. You may need to force a TDCO learn.
8. For every 1 mm you rotate the pump you are changing timing 2*
9. When you get the TDCO where you want it (-1.6* is probably best compromise of power/economy) tighten down all three mounting nuts and call it good....

Let me know if that isn't clear enough....I do this stuff all the time without really paying much attention because it is like muscle memory to me...

did all of that exact stuff and still runs very rough and now started a compression test and have 2 cyl on driver side under 200psi
