6.7+3.42 factory gear option towing??

I am looking at trading in my LB7 for a 6.7. My wife will mainly be driving it but it will also be used to tow my puller around during pulling season. I noticed when building a 09 online they give you an option for 3.42 gears. This would be great for fuel economy for everyday driving but has anybody towed with these gears behind a 6.7 with an automatic? My old 95 12v had 3.54's and it towed great. The most I'll be towing is around 12K. Just curious if anybody has any experience or opinions on this setup.

With the six speed auto it wont be a problem, just dont try and jerk the tongue off the trailer.

That would be an awesome combination. I wish that they would have had those gears when I bought my truck,, hopefully I will have some in my truck by spring
