Which 6.7? The 6.7 cab and chassis is an Aisan(Spelling) 68RE
The 6.7 in the rest of the trucks get the 68RFE, based off of the 545RFE made in kokomo Indiana
Dang good tranny IMO. We had a customer that put over 100k on his without a problem. He hauls cattle/machinery for a living and the truck has seen very few days that it wasnt hooked to a trailer hauling 20-30k
I ask cause a good buddy of mine was working with a crew, and they had told him they shelled three different trannys in about a months time. They said they would be in some mud with it in drive, and when it would shift up, it tore something up. Anybody else heard of this?
