Here's a pic of a 6.7 cp3. I need to identify what the three fuel connections are for. I will be installing an Airdog on this truck (03 dually) with the 6.7 engine. The stock fuel filter setup will be going away...

I "think" that:

(sorry I messed up my numbers the first time)

#3 is the fuel inlet

#2 is ???? (this goes to the side of the fuel filter assembly then up to the rail with hard line).

#1 is the high pressure feed to the rail (hard line).

I'll take a guess...

1 --high pressure
2 --return
3 --low pressure inlet

1 high pressure line to the rail
2 fuel return(to tank)
3 fuel supply( from lift pump).

Edit ^^^^^ beat me to it! Just put one on a 5.9 the other day

isn't this different from a 5.9 cp3? I was thinking they only had two connections? maybe I'm wrong...

Fuel return is the same.Fuel supply on a 5.9 is on the top of the front cover vs the back on the 6.7. The high pressure outlet is in the same spot,it just sticks back about a 1/4" further on the 6.7

so to ditch the fuel filter setup, I need to fab something up to bolt the hard lines to or ditch the hard lines altogether right?

You have to connect the hard lines on both sides of the stock fuel filter housing together so the returns will still function. The GDP one I used to delete the stock filter canister was just a straight through fitting that the stock banjo's screw into and a braket to secure it to the block.
