6.7 Cylinder Head on a 03 5.9

i did a search with no luck, i have an 03 5.9 and was wondering if a 6.7 cylinder head would work on a 5.9 block? if it would work what components would be needed to be swapped? would i use the 6.7 push rods,rocker arms and head gasket? also would the ARP 2000 head studs for the 03 work with the 6.7 head? the reason i am asking is a need a head and can get a 6.7 head for a decent price. any info would help, thanx
 
search some more, there is some info out there.

The 6.7 head has some additional coolant passages, I think zstroken posted info about it.

I have a head off an 03 if you are interested in it.
 
LOL, I am the one who told him to verify it. I have a 6.7 head forsale. When I did all of the investigation on this was over a year ago. I forget what worked and what didn't.
 
My friend has a 6.7 bottom end with a 5.9 head.
It works great, but I'm not sure if he had to modify th 6.7 hg or not..
 
Im in the same boat it seems like. I got a friend with a 6.7 head I can get but idk if it will mate up with a 5.9 block. I know that the nozzles would have to stay with the pistons im gonna run 03-04.5. other than that I dont know what to do. I was looking for an 06-07 head but the shipping was gonna kill me on gettin one. Does the 6.7 head head have the same passages in the head and then some or are they just completely different and not worth trying to mate to a 5.9 block?
