6.7 piston without cooling channel under bowl?

Does Cummins make a different version of the 6.7 piston that does not have the circular oil passage under the bowl. Maybe a solid one like the older 5.9's.

Don't all 6.7's have the metal cooling jets? If that's true, then I wouldn't see why they would switch to one that wouldn't take advantage of that jet.
 
But it limits how deep you can go with the bowl.(it reads better if you repeat it in a high pitched whining voice):hehe:
 
Are the monotherm steel pistons available for a 6.7 I wonder if they would have the cooling channel?
