68RFE Transmission Cooler for 48RE

Looking at getting rid of the thermostat in my transmission cooler. Noticed the 6.7 68RFE coolers have no thermostat. Anyone run one in place of the 48RE cooler to eliminate the thermostat?

How about the check valve? Gut it?

Haven't seen those but have seen couple 6.0 coolers up front.

FYI for anyone else that would want to do it to eliminate the thermostat it is a plug and play.

It's actually the same exact size as the 48RE cooler, just doesn't have a thermostat. They are about $200 from the dealer.

I thought I had the only bent up condenser. Will be adding this to my list when I get my trans built. Sounds like cheap insurance.
