Fuel only!!!...7.3 I think, twin turbos and twin air to water interoolers. Pretty trick. I think Mikey may chime in once his hangover clears a little bit. He knows the guy.

The truck laid down 694 with 80 psi uncorrected, 700+ something corrected and the 2nd attempt we thought the rollers were loading and unloading-that was the trans letting go. It had to be pushed on the trailer.

The only good run, the dyno operator let off when the boost hit 80 per MM's instructions, but we got that handled, but it was too late.

On the street, the wastegate opened immediately at 100 psi, and never did on the rollers. That truck is a legimate 750 RWHP on a load dyno and a trans that can hold it-on FUEL only. No water inj, no spray.

I think Tipton has some acceleration logs from blasting on the back roads, and I heard something about 122 MPH in not much time......

wow those are some crazy numbers! looks like quite a truck!!! some day maybe my 7.3 will be there...lol
 
Those are some great numbers from a Pwerstroke, just need to do something about it sounding like a Powerstroke, LOL

Man if TJ could only keep a tranny in that thing! If i remember right, didn't he break an input shaft with it in houston testing it? But anyways congrats Tj!

I believe it was the OD planetary...and I was driving it then. Same thing this time, truck went into neutral when the load hit.
 
Ohh okay, yeah i remember when he had it at DI on friday night, he got on it a few times, sure sounded mean. Well again, congrats guys!
 
sweet... maybe we'll have a couple 1000+hp psds this year!!! (including WOP's 1400fwhp dragster) AND THEY'RE 7.3s WOOHOO!!!!

Seems to be the same issue MADDOG has with his 4r100. I haven't heard of a solution yet. I'd guess that the input isn't the weak link, so everything past there needs some attention.
 
just curious -- but why aren't you guys using a transmission such as a BTS or similar that is guaranteed to unlimited horsepower?? Or have you guys burned one such as those up also???
 
we are beyond that point already :-), I have had trans from all of the big builders, none of them are unlimited hp rated, They all break and my garage is alot closer the lead hill arkansa.


ATS said i was breaking stuff in the convertor that Maddog doesnt break, Who said sled pulling wasnt hard on stuff!!
