700 horsepower- stock turbo

Is this possible? Some guy told me he's in the :aiwebs_029: 700's with the stock turbo and a custom tuner chip- is this possible?:ugh:
 
Brandon myers hit 8 bills on the stock Turbo. Buck and Jess Spruill run a stocker as well.

I kinda laughed and said that he would be Diesel World Famous if he did that on just a tuner chip.LOL











But then he reminded me of the dyno he has outside his speed shop:ugh: :doh:

So that's why I was askin- I thing he was pullin my jingle balls:dead-horse-fast2:

How much boost?

:ugh:


I think maximum boost for HX35 is 40 psi

To make 700 hp you need at least 60 psi

I think this guy may have fallen ,and bumped his head on something very hard,I mean as much as I wish it was true there is no way in Haities he is getting those numbers w/stock tranny and turbo without using an a$&load of nitrous!
 
LOL. Stock trans punts when you cross 400 HP much less 700. The stock IHI while robust runs out of air at 500 HP. You can add another 300 on the bottle no problem.

You need a ton of mods to make 700 on fuel only with the Duramax. Sounds like this guy is doing some serious ricer math along with another 50 HP from his stickers alone......

CAP doesn't need to answer this one..
This guy is so full of it, his socks, drawers, and tshirt never come clean in the wash.
No laughing gas, no twins, just programming? If he got anything over 550 (and that's being generous) either he........

(A) Has one HELL of a correction factor for his dyno
(B) Has one very vivid imagination

Tell you what, get him to sign up here and tell us all about his wonder truck. If his transmission is holding 700HP stock *and it is a stock 1000 series Allison* I will don him the super tuner of the universe.
