Single 66 Turbo, Diesel only. Uncorrected, sea level, on a DynoJet.

:woohoo:

A little more info needed.How many pumps,size injectors(flux 4's?)

Was this Tims truck?

It ended up @ 722 HP with a back up run of 721.5 HP.

Mods are:

Dual Cp3's
Flux 4's
Helix 2 and Springs
TST
Downloader ( swithes between bully and smarty )
F1 Pressure box on level 5 ( makes about peak 25K in rail pressure with all boxes and DL's turned on )

It has a single 66 turbo, but the wastegate kept blowing open and the best boost number was 40 PSI. Down from last week @ 48 PSI.

EGT did not exceed 1250. He did not have time to bolt on the water injection today.

I was wishing we had a heavy DynoJet or a Load dyno today to get this thing really cooking.

It is Tim Barbers truck!

Congrats Don

Now I am still waiting to hear this new theory of yours. I am getting ready to reassemble 2 tractor pulling engines, This would be some sweet info.

Since you are a Diesel Doctor, would you be related to Dr Performance? Ya know, Compys previous feed bag.

Hmm Comp and Don~ from Tx and Posts a bunch of back slapping posts, A weird coincident or an alter ego, You decide............:kick:

Anyway Yes I do work on some Diesel and Alkies, heck even a few gassers LOL.

Never the less I am still wanting to hear how this added airflow helps with durability........ Dang parts that are showing signs of wear and tear must need more airflow..

how much smoke with the flux 4s and dual CP3's don? without electronics on I mean. I am thinking of jumpin back to common rail just so I can be smokeless with the electronics turned off and then go buckwild with the push of a few buttons.

Congrats! Common rail is the future of diesel hotrodding, and it's just getting started.

didn't I and others already do that ? and with out a TST or F1 pressure box.

congrats to Tim but, I though 700hp was yesterdays news

LOL... no I didn't notice that. Guess 700 really is yesterdays news.

I'm surprised it was so close to the top of the page for being so old.
