8.2l Detroit air compressor bolts breaking

I have a 1987 chevy truck that has a 8.2l detroit motor in it and it is breaking the bolts that mount the air compressor to the engine. The truck has done this numerous times and I have put new bolts in then used the truck a couple of days an it happens agian. Currently the truck is at the shop a friend mechanic has looked at it and said that he thinks it is fixed but we haven't had time to test it yet, he cleaned the holes up and put differnet bolts in and said that he thought it would work. If anyone has had this problem before could you let me know how you fixed the problem. or send a picture of how you fixed it if it was by putting a brace on the compressor, my e-mail is scvfd_7241@yahoo.com

do you have pictures?
were exactly does the compressor mount, back side of the gear cover?
i dont have any lit. on those but i'll check for you
