I need to get my front drive shaft done so I can get my 4x4 working again.

I am wondering what everyone did to get there 4x4 working again?

From what the drive shaft builders are telling me is that I have to get a whole new one. They can't lengthen the old one by 3" to make it true. Also I would have to get a 2" round and it is going to be tight under there.....

Like I said I am just wondering what you did to get yours working again.

Thanks

yes sir its very close to the shifter lever on the motor but itll work.

:what: i put the original drive shaft in my truck since i put the trans and transfer case in the stock location. i do have a 6in suspension lift.

are you not running a lift of some sort and running into something?:poke:

are you running an auto trans i take it by having a trans temp guage?

My engine is moved back 3". That means that my drive shaft is 3'' to short. This is why it does not fit and I have to make a new one but to big it will hit the transmission.

the 2" will work, thats what i have in mine. but like i said itll be very close.

oh ok i was just asking because mine never hit mine but my set up is not moved back 3 inches either but i never been around an auto trans so i dont know how it works with the transfer case.
