Hate to put my baby up for sale, but I've realized it's too much truck for my needs.
1995 Ram 3500 Club cab, 2WD, Automatic, 12valve turbo diesel.
The Good:
134,5XX original miles. For you math majors, that's less than 8,000 miles/year
Original engine, original trans, original IP, original turbo
KDP tabbed (crank seal & timing cover gasket done as well)
Virgin injection pump
Relatively minor dash cracking
Non-smoker
Air ride suspension (minus the compressor)
Comes with a Reese 20k fifth wheel
Headliner completely intact
Lightly modded (K&N air filter, 3" exhaust with resonator, mag-hytec 727DD, autometer gauges)
New copper seals/washer from IP to injectors.
New front brakes within past 6 months.
Oil changes every 6 months (it's only driven 3,000 miles in the past 3 years)
Trans fluid & filter changed yearly (trying to track down that leak!)
3.55 rear end. 18+ MPG unloaded. Bump timing and you'll probably get over 20mpg
TX truck it's entire life, minimal rust
Truck hasn't been hot-rodded, raced, or pulled
The Bad:
Trans has a leak that I've never been able to track down. Loses about a quart every 6 months.
Heater core is blown & bypassed
A/C is out. Vents blow, but that's it. Could be low on freon, could be a bad compressor, I don't know.
Paint is flaking off the tailgate. I rattle canned it white again, but it looks pretty bad
Reluctant seller, I'm in no hurry, but it only gets driven about once a month, and I'd like her to go to a home where she'll actually do work. I'd consider trading for an 07+ Tundra with a 5.7L.
Located just outside of Austin, TX. Asking $8,998. Don't like the price? Make me an offer.
