96 5 speed 4x4 regular cab

My cousin has a black 96 5 speed SLT 4x4 regular cab with about 145k miles on it. The motor sounds and runs like a new one and runs stout. I ground the plate in it, and installed a new overflow valve for him. The KDP has been fixed, and the transfer case was rebuilt right after he got it about 1.5 years ago or so. He has just bought a house, so he is wanting to sell the truck to help pay for that. The worst thing about the truck is that just recently it started making noise in 5th gear, so the transmission may be going out, or it could be something simpler? He says it is fine in the other gears. The body isnt in great shape, but it also isnt near as bad as some i have seen. He is asking $5,000 OBO for the truck. Ill get a picture up later tonight. Truck is located in Garrard County, Ky.

3:55 Dana 80- $800
3:55 Dana 60- $1000
Rebuilt T-Case- $500 or so
145k mile motor- $2500
Transmission- $500

And that is not counting any body parts, and whatever else i left out.

21 hwy, 13-14 in town. 12v does better in town looking at miles driven and fuel used, but don't have an exact number on it yet. Yes i know the 12v tank is bigger, but still....225 miles to a quarter tank in town is better than the dmax by far.

This is my cousins truck as well. He wants to sell the complete truck. Dont really think hes interested in parting it out. Body is a little rough but the motor sounds great and the truck runs good. Dont forget it has a 215 pump, so that is a plus

Yep, truck hasnt been touched other than the plate and a new overflow valve. He just wanted a little smoke and a little more pep for driving. Rear is a 3:55 Dana 80
