I bought this truck on there in januray, fix some leaks and gauges drove it probably 100 miles or so, it ran very well, better the my red truck... we ended up takin the Twins off and puting my Gt 42 on it and broke (or finished it off) the flexplate that night... It shifted very well ,fast from first to second, and has a tight converter... with the twins it had no problem lighting the back tires at any speed under 50

Since then we pulled the motor, trans, and transfercase out to start building it to a puller... but I'm buying a house and my red truck in not working out as a dd so it needs to go....

The twins are S300 (58mm) over a big Holset (i havn't measured it)
It never used any water or made any oil

Check out the other tread and get an opion for yourself all I can tell you is what i know but i did run good

If not I need to sell the transmission first the I could part the rest out

Did anyone ever find out what kind of trans this thing has?? I read the whole other thread (20 minutes of my life I'll never get back) and never saw where it told what kind it was.

yes i will sell the twins (give me a call) and i dont know who built the trans but it does shift good and holds up better then the flexplate did
