Hi guys the truck is not the one in my sig its a 97 cummins no fuel plate, afc foot ground down, pre boost screw adjusted, mack plug, cold air intake, 4 inch exhaust, ati fluid damper and a adjustable boost elbow. The problem is the truck doesnt run like i think it should feels very low on power. it makes right around 23lbs of boost. Is there anything that i can check that anyone can think of it has good fuel pressure. its also an auto if that helps any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Well you have the super B special listed in your sig, that would take alot of AFC tuning to get right. Does it smoke or not while trying to build boost? Need more details.

Re-read your post and you said a truck NOT in your sig. Well you didn't list a gov spring kit, and that would be my first guess as to why it feels down on power if it has good fuel press. And if it only makes 23LBS of boost with the elbow, either the elbow/wastegate is not set right or you are not getting much over stock fuel.

We will be doing gov springs in the next week or two. When i pulled the plate and did the afc mods it just didnt seem to make much of a differnce. I'm just trying to figure out why. We pulled the ofv and there wasnt a spring in it so it was replaced with a adjustable tork tec and that helped a little but something still isnt right

Sounds like a stock truck to me. Just how much better do you think it should run. With what you said it has done to it. You need alot more to make it run better. Timing, Injectors, turbo, Dv. The list goes on and on. Check for air leaks. You never said what your fuel pressure is? Also run the valves.

I may just be crazy i was trying to remember how mine ran with similar modifications and i was thinking it should run better then what it is

It just seems like there isnt enough fuel for it to use but will give it a try thanks

We pulled intercooler due to it being bent. Replaced it truck runs much better now
