98-00 crank tone ring

Can these be transferred to an 01 crank or does it have to be a 98-00 specific crank?

If I remember correct it would take some machine work to fit the tone ring.

I think the tone rings on the 24v's are close to the rear of the crank, being that the crank sensor is at the starter. I believe all the 24v's are the same and the CR are different about a year agao we made a 99 24v crank work in a 04 cr rebuild. just have to remachine and drill and tap for tone ring. Of course keep everything in perfect degree. hope this helps
