on a cummins with a stock vp44 pump, is there a limit to what fuel pressure i could push to it?? i've heard that it's electronicly controled to only put in so much, so if i have my lift pump turned up too high could it damage my pump?
I just replaced my vp44 pump, got a brand new one from bosch, i have my 150 gph lift pump but its not turned up that much. i dont have a fuel pressure gauge so i cant tell u what im pushing. My truck starts sputtering then just dies all together, it fires right back up and drives, but idk why it'd die on me. So back to my previous question would fuel pressure have something to do with that???
